Message from the store owner
My name is Art Holliday and I’d like to welcome you to Original Art Clothing and Merchandise, which offers a unique collection of products inspired by a variety of passions and professions. My store provides stylish and fun options that celebrate TV news and journalism, teachers, nurses, and first responders who make a difference every day. OACM also caters to live music enthusiasts and proud "girl dads" (like me) offering apparel and merchandise that reflect their vibrant lifestyles. Coffee lovers and dog owners will find delightful designs that resonate with their daily joys. At Original Art, we believe in expressing individuality through quality, artful clothing and merchandise that inspires and makes you smile. 40-plus years of my photography is among OACM products for sale.
Now that I’m retired from tv news after 50 years, I’m living my dream of being a filmmaker with two documentaries and a screenplay underway. Filmmaking requires funding, and instead of conventional fundraising like crowdsourcing, grant writing, and fundraising events, I decided to create a store that had the possibility of growing and supporting my film projects. “Johnnie Be Good” is a music doc about Johnnie Johnson, the hall of fame piano man who collaborated with Chuck Berry to make St. Louis one of the birthplaces of rock and roll. “Brother Boogie” is a film about a man whose unconventional journey to becoming a prison minister began with gambling and bank robbery. Thanks for joining my filmmaking journey by shopping at Original Art Clothing and Merchandise. Appreciate you!
